This birth was so special to me. Stephanie is a good friend of mine and not only did I get to photograph another baby of theirs but they named their baby after her sister, Candice, who passed away a few years ago who I was really close with. The whole day was calm as we waited for her to make her way down and when it was time to push we definitely felt Candice there with us hanging on to little Rae for one last hug before sending her down to us. She was such a big baby that she got stuck at the shoulders and I could see a little panic with the staff as they worked that shoulder out. They handled it like it was nothing and Rae came out perfectly! I’m so happy when I get to photograph siblings!
